The location at Hotel Cairoli is fantastic, within walking distance to the waterfront and main attractions. My room, while small, had a cozy feeling with a small desk and an electric kettle to brew some tea. The air conditioning worked well, making the stay comfortable even in warm weather. However, the shower was cramped, and the bathroom had a bit of a musty smell. The ancient elevator was a challenge, requiring some effort with luggage, as it’s quite small and requires navigating multiple doors. A supermarket nearby was handy for snacks. Overall, a reasonable place for basic needs, but there are definitely areas needing attention.

helpful staff

cairoli is a nice place with a perfect location right in the center. our comfort double room was spacious and had all the necessary amenities. the staff were very nice and helpful, making our stay enjoyable. it's also a short walk to the port and major attractions, which is definitely a plus.

Just a nice choice for a quick break in Genoa with very good value for money. The breakfast was great, with lots on offer and very flexible. Try to ask for a room away from the street to avoid noise.
